Anderson Silva informed of potential Anti-Doping Policy violation by USADA:

Huge derailment as Silva looks to reemerge as a contender.
Former Middleweight champion Anderson 'The Spider' Silva has been notified by the United States Anti-Doping Agency of a potential Anti-Doping Policy violation, stemming from an October 26th out-of-competition test sample. Silva was booked to headline UFC Fight Night Shanghai against Kelvin Gastelum but has been subsequently pulled from the event, with the Ultimate Fighting Championship actively attempting to find a replacement for the Brazilian.

Silva was infamously caught in hot water back in 2015 after his UFC 183 bout with fellow drug test failure Nick Diaz, with the Brazil favourite serving a one year suspension, after his sample was found to contain the two anabolic steriods, Androstane and Drostanolone, which the striker blamed on a tainted sexual enhancement drug. Silva returned to action in February 2016, in a controversial decision defeat to fellow former Middleweight champ Michael 'The Count' Bisping. Silva was paired with Gastelum for UFC 212 but a failed drug test for marijuana ruled The Ultimate Fighter 17: victor out of the contest.
