T.J. Dillashaw reclaims Bantamweight crown with second round TKO win:

T.J. recovers from 1st round knockdown to seal title win.

Arguably one of the most heated rivalry's in MMA past or future co headlines UFC 217, as Bantamweight king Cody 'No Love' Garbrandt looks to defend his crown against former Team Alpha Male teammate and former Bantamweight champ T.J. Dillashaw. The obvious route to success for Cody is through that incredible power within his left hand, while Dillashaw in my opinion, has the more complex game with his wrestling pedigree, unmatched footwork and movement, and a diverse kicking and tidy boxing game. Expect nothing less than fireworks.

No touch from Cody despite the offer from T.J. Immediate loose and angle heavy approach from Dillashaw early on with Garbrandt going close with an overhand left. Garbrandt began to swarm on Dillashaw missing a couple of combination attempts. So many creative angles on display form T.J. so far, with no real significant shots landing for either party. A huge right hook landed seconds before the buzzer for Garbrandt, buckling the legs of Dillashaw who survived, be that wobbly, to answer the second round bell.

Cody as with the Dominick Cruz meeting, began to utilise his incredible head movement, calling Dillashaw forward after a missed high kick from the Californian.The next high kick from Dillashaw stung Cody before absolutely cracking him once more really badly forcing the champ to shell up, with Dan Miragliotta forced to call the bout. Ground and pound and a new champ.
